Who will be the next Supreme Court nominee?

Both President Trump and the leader of the United States Senate Mitch McConnell have said that they support replacing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg position on the Supreme Court as soon as possible.

So the question remains, who will it be?

To give us insights as to how this is likely to play out, I have commissioned a Snap Poll of the American public and am looking to the prediction markets for guidance.

As you can see from the chart below among the top three contenders, as portrayed by the prediction markets, Amy Coney Barrett comes in with a 46% probability to being the nominee.

The results of the Snap Poll that I commissioned, is that 67% of the American public thinks that Amy Coney Barrett will be the nominee that Trump will announce next week.

In summary, the markets and American public think that Amy Coney Barrett is going to be the nominee. We will have to wait and see how this all plays out.
